The HeywoodHotel is a newer boutique hotel located in East Austin that is dedicated to creating an atmosphere that is more relaxed than other pricey accommodations. For couples that desire something different than formality and a big name, the Heywood may be the answer. Though there are just 7 rooms, the hotel’s creative design is excellent. Some of the rooms have private patios, the hotel is decorated with artwork from local artists and there are free bicycles available with which to explore the city. In the surrounding area, one can check out the numerous restaurants, lounges and shops. The Heywood is a perfect quiet and quaint getaway for a romantic outing.
