Classes and Workshops of the Week - January Week One
Sometimes you want to spend an afternoon or a night learning something new. NYC has opportunities aplenty when it comes to finding fun and interesting classes and workshops where you can pick up new skills at (usually) reasonable prices. Here are a few of this week’s highlights.
The Alchemy of the Chakras - Flatiron - Jan 7th
For those interested in the more esoteric arts, this class will give you a good understanding of the way the chakras work. Learn more about the theory and function of these mystical energy lines as well as the history behind the spiritual practices that use them.
150 Years in Hiding -
For the science junkie in all of us, the Brooklyn Brainery has put together a new class dealing with the recent discovery of a new frog species in NYC. Learn more about the species and how it hid from sight for so long as well as information on what it means to the scientific community as a whole.
