Lizard Squad members arrested; questioned

Authorities moving fast

Lizard Squad, the hacking group which has claimed responsibility for the widespread Christmas Playstation Network and Xbox Live outages, has quickly caught the attention of authorities worldwide. One alleged member of the group, a 22 year-old man in England, was arrested yesterday for his involvement in the outages as well as investigations into Paypal fraud.

Today, a Finnish teen was brought in for questioning by Finland's National Bureau of Investigation. The teen is being investigated for "aggravated data crimes," in addition to his involvement in the Christmas outages. He has claimed that the Xbox Live and Playstation Network outages were performed by only three members of the group, although he claims only to be a spokesperson for Lizard Squad, and not actively involved in hacking attempts himself.

The teen was brought in for questioning after bragging about Lizard Squad's activities on Sky News.
