The state of Wyoming has only two escalators
They are both in banks.
Megan Lee, reporter and author of the "Answer Girl" column in the Casper, Wyoming Star Tribune, once found herself faced with a stumper. Someone had written in to ask how many escalators were in Wyoming. Lee finally tracked down the answer: two escalators. (Well, technically four: two pairs of escalators; one up, one down.)
Check out this video where she addresses the question by visiting one of Wyoming's pairs of escalators. Includes bonus footage of her tour of the secret underground tunnel which provides maintenance access to the bank's drive-in pneumatic tube system.
