Beaver eats internet

America's cutest aquatic mammal proves dangerous to internet & cell service

A massive internet and cell phone outage in northern New Mexico has been traced back to its source. The culprit: a rogue beaver. CenturyLink reported that the busy fellow chewed through one of their fiber optic cables, causing an outage that affected 1,800 internet users and untold numbers of cellphone users.

Beavers now join their cousins the squirrels on the list of Animals That Hate Our Freedoms.
