Strange and Exotic Events Watch - November Week Four
Want to try something a little bit different? Lucky for you, NYC is big enough that all sorts of unique and unusual things are happening all throughout the year. Here’s the best thing taking place this week.
Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade Balloon Inflation -
Most New Yorkers spend Thanksgiving Day watching at least some of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, but how many of them get to see the time and effort that goes into this grand production? Many people don’t know it, but the day before the parade is a great chance to witness the great balloon inflation.
Of course, you’ll need to do a little footwork if you want to see this event. You’ll either have to volunteer to help at the parade, be a part of the parade itself or have a friend or family relationship with someone that falls into one of those categories. So if you’d like to make this part of your pre-Thanksgiving, help make the parade a reality with your own hard work. Or just scour your friends list on FaceBook until you find someone that can get you in.
