Exploring St. Louis’ Beautiful Churches

For lovers of fine architecture, there are few buildings that compare to the grandeur of an historic church. St. Louis has a long history and over that time some marvelous creations have been built. The next time you’re looking for something to do, try a casual tour of some of the city’s best. St. Agatha Church is one place to see. From its imposing yet regal exterior to the breathtaking design of the main chapel, this is a truly magnificent tribute to a higher power. The Shrine of St. Joseph is another spot that looks a lot like St. Agatha. It is a towering brick structure with a grand hall that is intricately designed. And don’t miss the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis. It’s Romanesque and Gothic style looks like something that you would find in the Old World and the frescos adorning the interior are a wonder to behold.
