When the city gets to be too much for you to handle and you really need to spend time with your special someone in a private, relaxed setting, check out a nearby private retreat. There are several within a reasonable distance of the city and here are a few. Try taking a trip out to Clark and staying at Tara. Located out in the country, this accommodation is a mix of luxury and privacy. Or check out what is considered by some to be one of America’s most romantic inns, Buhl Mansion Guesthouse and Spa. This castle-like structure is beautiful on the outside and has all the amenities you could hope for on the inside. And for a romantic vacation with some amazing views, travel to Farmington and stay at the Summit Inn Resort. It’s a bit expensive, but it’s hard to beat the romance out there.
