Generations: New Lifetime Rewards
I was surprised recently when I clicked to view the available Lifetime Rewards, and found a bunch of new options! These were added with the Generations expansion pack. There are nine new Rewards, more than any other expansion pack has added to date.
Hover Bed (20,000 points)
This one may not be very useful for game play, but it's pretty neat! The hover bed is one of the few actual objects you can obtain with Lifetime Happiness points. It's a bed that looks science fiction-y, and also it hovers. You get a +10 positive moodlet while sleeping in it.
Super Nanny (25,000 points)
I haven't explored any of the day care options, but this reward would probably be mandatory if you wanted to run a home day care center!
Clean Slate (25,000 points)
This option wipes clean your Sim's romantic reputation, leaving them with the default "none." Reputation is a pretty odd beast, as we explored recently. Is it worth 25,000 to lose your reputation? I guess you will have to be the judge of that!
Inheritance (30,000 points)
A distant family member dies, leaving you with a random inheritance. Rumor has it you end up with around $30,000 each time. This is one of the few ways to convert Lifetime Happiness points to cash, so it's nice to have the option.
Above Reproach (35,000 points)
If you're planning to do naughty things in public, choose this Lifetime Reward. It will save you from having to choose Clean Slate later!
Clone Voucher (45,000 points)
This one is a little weird. You turn in your voucher at the Science Center, and they give you a child version of yourself. I guess this would be handy for those who are running a legacy, and don't want to adopt a random child. Just make a clone!
Motive Mobile (45,000 points)
This one is NEAT, but I haven't had a chance to try it out personally yet. It's a vehicle that carries you around town, and resets all of your motives while it does so. Like the taxi cab, but it tops up your Hunger, Bladder, Fun, Sleep, Social, and Hygiene while you ride. Now THAT is a tricked-out vehicle! (It's probably best not to speculate what's going on in there, though.)
Age Freeze (65,000 points)
Does what it says on the tin: stops your Sim from aging. A lot more convenient than constantly making Ambrosia!
Young Again (70,000 points)
Resets your Sim back to the beginning of Young Adult. Finally we have an option that bumps Sims back an age stage! Note that you can also do this with the Chemistry set, although it takes a bit of learning.
