When you’re in the mood to laugh and have fun, grab your special someone and take a night out at one of the city’s best comedy clubs. There are plenty of good comedy nights and hotspots to choose from, but here are a couple of the most praised. Acme Comedy Co. is at the top of the list. Comedians from all over make this their preferred stop when they’re coming through Minneapolis, so you’re usually guaranteed a top-notch act. Or head to the Brave New Workshop Comedy Theatre for some locally crafted comedy. They usually only have shows on Fridays and Saturdays though, so make sure to check the calendar first. And the Big Laughs Comedy Club is another Friday/Saturday destination that has a reputation for bringing in the bigger comedic names.
