Concert and Music Watch - October Week Four

Though it’s never a problem to find dozens of bands and other musical performances on any night of the week in NYC, here are a couple of highlights for this week. If one of these is up your alley, then stop by and enjoy some music and everything else the venue has to offer.

Misfits - IrvingPlaza - Oct 28th

Fans of old-school punk rock might want to stop off and see what’s become of the Misfits since the 70s. They’ve changed their line-up and the music is a bit different, but they still have that noisy appeal that made them such a hit back in the day. A definite fun concert for older couples that had a rebellious streak when they were younger.

Primus - Beacon Theatre - Oct 31st

Anyone that lived through the 90s will remember Primus, the funk-rock band that made a style of music that was unlike anything else we’d ever heard before. They’re playing at the Beacon on Halloween, so if you don’t already have plans, grab your special someone and get a couple of tickets for what will certainly be an amazing show.
