Musical Theater Watch - October Week Four

One of the things that the world knows NYC for is its amazing shows. If you’re one of those that loves a good musical, you’re pretty much guaranteed that something is going on every night of the week. Here are just a few of the shows that are showing right now.

Here Lies Love - Public Theater - Through Jan 4th

This musical follows the life and times of the infamous Imelda Marcos, former First Lady of the Philippines. The music was composed through a collaboration of David Byrne and Fat Boy Slim, so you can expect something truly unique. Bring along your date and enjoy this eclectic and well-received mix of tunes and history.

Chicago - The Musical - Ambassador Theater - Open Run

One of the all-time classics of Broadway (and much of the world), Chicago brings us a tale of Prohibition Era Chicago that’s filled with murder, intrigue and prison life. If you haven’t seen it already, you must take a night out to enjoy this multi-award-winning production.
