Diving into Austin’s Best Dive Bars

When it’s time to get your drink on, few places are more appropriate to visit than the great dive bars of the city. Whether you’re going out solo or bringing along someone special, a good time awaits. Ginny’s Little Longhorn Saloon is one classic Austin dive bar that everyone should visit at least once. It doesn’t have any windows, but what it does have is lots of atmosphere and a fun crowd of regulars. Or if a night of karaoke is your thing, head to Ego’s. It’s gained a reputation as Austin’s best spot for singing and the cheap drinks make it that much easier to take the stage. And hit up The White Horse if you’re looking for a place that embodies the spirit of honky-tonk. Just watch out on the weekends or you might find yourself in the middle of a bachelorette party.
