When it comes to parks, Minnesota has some of the country’s best outdoor recreation possibilities.  Visit one of our amazing parks for a fun, affordable time outside. Here are our top three picks for the best parks in Minnesota.

Blue Mounds State Park

Famous for its resident herd of buffalo, Blue Mounds State Park also has amazing prairie grass fields, a wildlife sanctuary, hiking paths, camping sites, and a beautiful lake for swimming and boating fun.

Como Park

Located in St. Paul, Como Park offers a gorgeous lake with paddleboats for rent, as well as several miles of paved path. It’s located near the zoo and observatory, which makes it a convenient stopping point for tourists to rest up and enjoy their visit.

Sibley State Park

Encompassing both a mountain and a lake, this amazing park has a little bit of everything. Including swimming, boating, hiking, camping, and incredible views of the surrounding countryside from Mount Tom.
