Minneapolis is a wonderful city with a long history and the centuries have left their mark all throughout the landscape. The next time you want something to do as a couple, try exploring the most beautiful architecture in the city. If you prefer the flash and flare of modern architecture, try a trip to the WalkerArtCenter. Or visit the military roots of the city by checking out Ft.Snelling. This fort is nearly 200 years old and if you show up during certain holidays you can even catch a reenactment show. And for something truly different, visit the American Swedish Institute. The building is breathtaking and there’s a museum inside as well.
