When you’re not in the mood for anything fancy, try hitting up one of the city’s excellent dive bars instead. Whether you’re going there to meet someone or have a few drinks with your special someone, there are some great places to get your drink on. Churchill’s Pub is one interesting place to check out. Just make sure you avoid going there during the summer months, as their AC isn’t the best in town. If you’re a fan of local music, then hit up Tobacco Road. As one of the oldest bars in all of Miami, they have a reputation to uphold and they’ve been doing it successfully for a long time. And if you prefer your dive bar to have a more energetic atmosphere, head to Transit Lounge. From local bands to DJs, there’s always something going on here.
