Huntington Library’s Japanese Garden
Attached to the Huntington Library Art Collections and Botanical Gardens is this beautiful and historic Japanese garden. Over 100 years old, the Japanese garden spans nine acres, and includes a ceremonial tea house, as well as a beautiful on-site tea garden.
This iconic park encompasses over 4,200 acres of chaparral and regular grass park alike, and is a favorite among locals for its hiking, horseback riding, and running trails. It’s also famous for the Griffith Observatory, which is a true treasure.
Angel’s Gate Recreation Center
With panoramic coastline views from the cliffs, this seaside park has basketball courts, a great playground, and lots of wonderful trails to stroll or jog, as the mood strikes you.
