Maryland day trips

This quirky little island has a dialect and accent all its own, as well as some of the state’s best seafood and outdoor activities from canoeing to fishing. Don’t pass up the chance to have a slice of the unique Smith Island Cake while you are there!
This park encompasses mountain trails that were favored by Teddy S. Roosevelt, as well as a beautiful waterfall, and some amazing views of the nearby farmland and sugar maple farms. A gorgeous way to get out of the city for the day.
