In your views.   I'm optimistic, seeing what has been done and that there are now only a handful of things that need to be for '17 to be a success.

Let's say Aoki, Smith and Ianetta are all retained at their reasonable contracts.  They're all then tradeable assets at those costs.  Not saying they'd all get traded, just that we shouldn't overreact to any being retained as it could be the first step to adding more MiL depth.

Tank has me excited about one OF corner for late '17 and years later.  If one corner is acquired then the 3rd and 4th OF can be training for the options of potential 4th OF or CF of the future, depending on need.  Then when O'Neill does come up it pushes one out.

Martin has had injuries in his age 26 and 27 seasons.  Before his injury this year he was at .262/.339/.433.  I'm not saying that's what he is or will be, just that there seems to be some possibility that he's not been all he can.  Even if he's got nothing more, there are (at least?) 3 other potential options acquired by Dipoto already.
