Music loving couples will find that spending a day or two experiencing one of the Twin Cities’ great music festivals can be the perfect way to get to know your special someone a little better. Luckily, Minneapolis has a wide variety of interesting festivals to check out. Mid-April is the time for the Midwest Music Fest. It takes place just south of the Twin Cities area and lasts for three days. If indie and local music is your thing, try Rock the Garden in mid-June. It takes place in the MinneapolisSculptureGarden, though it’s only a single-day event. And you can always check out some of the shows of the LakeHarriet concert series, an event that takes place throughout the summer and up to the last day of June.
