Interesting and revealing Chalk Talk by Brock Huard contends that there was nothing wrong with the play call. In fact Seattle with the play call created a situation that was exactly what any coach or offensive coordinator would want, a 4-on-4 mano-a-mano contest between the O-line and two DT's plus two LB's. The problem was the Hawks simply got whipped up front. If you watch the replay this is clear.
