For lovers of film, there are few better ways to spend time with the one you love than to enjoy one of Austin’s film festivals. No matter what your taste in movies happens to be, there’s likely something that will please both you and your someone special. By far the biggest and the best is SXSW, a veritable buffet of movies as well as music and other media that takes place in March. Or if sci-fi and cult movies are your thing, check out Septembers’ Fantastic Fest. And October brings another grand event in the form of the Austin Film Festival, a week of both independent and big-name flicks.
