Big Trouble in Little China remake in the works

Are you ready for a Big Trouble in Little China remake? Frankly, I don't understand why they would remake this movie at all. It's perfect just the way it is! But the Hollywood remake machine is in full swing these days, so you might as well accept it.
The remake will star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in Kurt Russell's role. Honestly, I was "meh" on this remake until I heard it starred The Rock. I think he will be perfect for the role, he has that great sense of self-aware silliness that the movie requires.
