Classes and Workshops of the Week - May Week Two

Sometimes you want to spend an afternoon or a night learning something new. NYC has opportunities aplenty when it comes to finding fun and interesting classes and workshops where you can pick up new skills at (usually) reasonable prices. Here are a few of this week’s highlights.

Bourbon, Scotch and RyeLexington Ave at 92nd – May 14th

Join the owner of one of the largest whiskey collections in the country as he gives a talk that is all about this fine spirit. Learn the differences between the various types of whiskey and then top it all off by sampling some excellent brands. For those that wish to improve their knowledge of alcohol, this is a good place to start.

Therapeutic Journaling Workshop – Nurture We – May 16th

One good life skill to have is the ability to work through your emotional problems. This class will show attendees how to use journaling to deal with everything from organization to depression, anxiety and more.
