There are always famous musicians coming through the Minneapolis area as they strike out on their world tours. But here are a couple coming up that aren’t quite as popular. For those that prefer their talent young and fresh, these might be perfect for you.

Amaranthe - MillCity Nights - May 21^st

This band is perhaps best known for the way they smash together a ton of different genres to create the unique sound that they have. You’ll get everything from dance music to metal to pop tunes, all rolled up into one. If you like your music unpredictable and energetic, check them out.

Hot Chip - First Avenue - May 30^th

They’ve been around for 15 years now and in that time have been nominated for numerous awards. What’s more, they work and tour almost non-stop, always getting better. For folks who enjoy indie music but also like to be able to dance, Hot Chip’s unique sound is the way to go.
