If it’s one thing that’s true about dog lovers, it’s that the first love of their lives is their canine companion. When you’re a dog owner and are connecting with another dog owner, dog parks can be a great way to spend some time together, just you, them and your best friends. Luckily, Minneapolis has several places that specially cater to couples with dogs. LoringPark is right in the middle of the city and so is a convenient location if you don’t want to stray too far. St. Anthony Parkway is a little bigger, but a little further out. Or head south to MinnehahaDogPark and more than 7 acres right on the banks of the Mississippi. Don’t forget your off-leash permit though, as you’ll need one to have your dog at any Minneapolis park.
