Every week brings the release of some of your favorite films to the world of DVD and Blu-ray. As a courtesy to you, I’ve hunted down some of this week’s releases so that you can decide just how to stock your collection.

Annie - It’s the remake of the classic tale of the little orphan girl that gets swept away to the rich life by a wealthy benefactor. The new incarnation has been getting decent reviews, so if you’re a fan of Annie at all, give it a try and see for yourself.

The Penguins of Madagascar - The penguins are back and this time they’re doing spy stuff. See them fight against the evil Dr. Octavius Brine in order to stop him from conquering the world. For some light-hearted comedy or couples with kids, this one works well for movie night.

Exodus: Gods and Kings - Ridley Scott’s take on the Bible is now on DVD. Unfortunately, it’s also been blasted by critics and audiences alike. It is, however, very pretty to look at. If all you want is a nice-looking epic and don’t expect too much else, this might be the movie choice for you.
