Using a Date Night to Explore History and Culture

For those that have the challenge of heading out on a date with someone whose tastes range more towards learning and culture, consider checking out one of Minneapolis’ many historic sites. There are plenty of museums to see if you want a quick glimpse at historic artifacts and things similar, but there are also lots of grand buildings and remnants of the past to see amongst the cityscape. The Basilica of St. Mary is one beautiful landmark, a striking hundred-year-old church right in the heart of downtown. Or if unique architecture is more your thing, try visiting one of the many Frank Lloyd Wright houses in the region. Or those looking for something a bit more adventurous might consider taking a tour of the WabashaStreetCaves in neighboring St. Paul.
