Saturday Steals: Free homeschool deals

Plus deals from Subway, Motherhood.com, Sbarro and more.

Are you familiar with Free Homeschool Deals? It’s a wonderful website that provides parents, teachers and homeschoolers with daily deals and freebies. It does have a lot of Christian links, so if you’re secular folks like we are you may want to skip some deals here and there—but overall it’s a really great site to follow. There are regular posts about free eBooks you can download, too.

This week, for example, there are the following freebies:

Skip counting worksheets

My Spring Nature Notebook

U.S. Pocket Chart Game

The website also features lots of great ideas for activities to do with your family, such as this list of 25+ ways to use leftover plastic Easter eggs.

Here are a few other great deals for the week:

Get a two-year subscription to Parents magazine for just $7. I’m not a huge fan of parenting magazines (other than a few online-only ones), but some parents love them—and they do make for great collages.

Tummy Sleeve: Buy three, get one FREE at Motherhood.com.

Subway: Buy one, get one FREE subs every day in April when you buy before 9 a.m. This is a great way to grab quick lunches when you’re running late for school, work or co-op classes.

Red Lobster: Buy one Lobsterfest meal and get one free through April 14.You do need a coupon for this deal.

Sbarro: “Like” Sbarro on Facebook and get a coupon for a slice of pizza for just $1 this weekend.

Get a Munchkin teething ring for just $1.79 and free shipping, a savings of 55 percent.
