Fun on the Minneapolis Stage
Taking your date to a show can be a great way to share an entertaining experience as well as create something to talk about later into the night. Here are a couple of fun and interesting shows crossing the
Mr. Burns - McGuire Proscenium Stage - March 31st through May 10th
Explore a post-nuclear world via the window of a group of survivors, sitting around the campfire and acting out scenes from The Simpsons. This dark comedy takes an intelligent look at the way pop culture can often change the way we look at mythology, particularly in the long-term. For those interested in the deeper issues of society, this one may be a winner.
Annie - Orpheum Theater - March 31st through April 5th
It’s the classic tale of the loveable little orphan and her adventures under the guidance of a millionaire with a heart of gold. So popular is this musical that it has been adapted to film several times and continues to grace the stage and impress audiences all over the world. See the new iteration before it’s gone, as it only has a six-day run.
