Enjoy an Afternoon Date Walking Denver’s Nature Trails

The state of Colorado is known for having some of the most stunning scenery in the country and even though Denver may be a large city there are still plenty of places both within the city and just outside of its boundaries that make great destinations for a walk through nature. If you’re out with someone that enjoys hiking, climbing or mountain biking, this can be the perfect way to get to know each other better. One of Denver’s pride and joys is the Sand Creek Regional Greenway, a series of trail systems that stretches for miles. Or a little further out is the Green Mountain Open Space, a shorter hike that is perfect for spending a few hours away from the city. Or check out the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge to see some animals and perhaps learn something new.
