Exploring Austin’s Nature Trails with that Someone Special

Taking a walk away from the distractions of the city can be the perfect way to get to know someone better. Without the hustle and bustle there is nothing to do except enjoy the beauty of nature and strike up a conversation. Even a big city like Austin has plenty of great natural spaces to take advantage of, some closer than others but all within a reasonable distance. The Riverplace Nature Trail is one of the more popular places to go for a good hike and it’s located just a short ways northwest of the city. If you want something a little closer, check out the Walnut Creek Trail. Or if you’re looking for a place to go that’s just a short hop from downtown, head to the Mayfield Nature Preserve. Whether spending a couple of hours or an entire day, this is an excellent way to spend time with that someone special.
