This is the kind of big-picture thought that should be debated, not whether Endy Chavez should have been in late in the game the other night because of the timing of an error in a tight game. The Chavez as a starter debate is happening for precisely the same reason. The M's don't ever ever ever want to "lose" on a risk. So they continue to lose on a risk they don't see.
Where is Bedard going to go to beat us? LAA?
