....if you can save 8 mil on Johjima, the Mariners can spend it on plugging the DH hole with another Branyan-style bat without losing any of their other top players (that includes Bedard if he wants to talk extension).
I do not know if Johjima is really thinking about leaving the show...but he'd be doing the Mariners a huge favor if he did leave and I'm quite certain Zduriencik would know how to spend that money.
