Ackley's swing is pretty darn close to the modified weight-shift swing that Lau advocated. Release the top hand sooner for better arm extension and he'd have it nailed.
If Ackley were to peg his leading leg and pivot around it he could hit for quite a bit more power, but I think that goes against his game. Ackley is going to be a spray-hitter with good gap power.
More data needs to acquired in the form of hitting vids, but from what I see in those two he has a sophisticated swing and will require only small adjustments.
