I'd be up for a flier on a Harden type.   You've got the September rotation and if Harden is throwing good, Fister slides to #6 / swing man.  Pretty sweet.
Where did you hear, another year out for Bedard?!   If you can sort of keep him in "idle" a la the Yankees and their Cone/Pavano type Ferraris in dry dock, so much the better.
