I don't know about that. Maybe, but it seems unlikely.
Regardless, I wouldn't want him even at that price. Thats pretty much a Sexson type contract, and since Bay is pretty much the '04 Sexson of LF I guess it makes sense.
Rh,0.55 ish eye, high BB%, low CT%, .240 IsoP (Richie had slightly higher in prime - 270ish).
The biggest difference between Richie and Bay is that Richie was a topspin hitter with a higher LD%, slightly more raw power. Bay is a backspin, flyball hitter, and would probably suffer a larger Safeco-effect than Sexson did in his prime.
I would NOT bet on Bay aging well either. Check out his comps.
