Several teams missed the boat on Franklin. I'm not sure if they couldn't find their contacts or they were on back order his last two years of HS. Nonetheless, Fanklin showed well in front of alot "high level scouts" many times.
I had the pleasure of coaching Franklin during his lst two years of high school. I laughed when I saw the MLB scouting report on Franklin. "No plus anything?" You didn't see the ball fly over the batter's eye at 410 for the sixth time? Guess that is why their is such a big turnover every year in the scouting business.
