I didn't take the previous comment at all as an attack on prospect watchers in Seattle...I thought that was just supposed to be a comment on the lack of guys actually developing...he was sayiung the prospect watchers haven't actually gotten to say "this guy seems to have altered X, Y Z and that's why his stats have changed" because no one's stats ever changed. Except Adam Jones, who did suddenly start drawing a ton more walks in AAA and striking out a bit less.
The inclusion of commentary on why players' stats have changed was impossible until recently because they didn't. I thought that's what he was saying...he can correct me if I'm wrong.
