The ump DID blow the Heyward call.
I've had to admit that while it seems consistent that M's pitchers get jobbed by the umpires, even allowing for reasonably flexible strike zones by umpires, the M's have had a number of other kinds of calls (non-balls-and-strikes) go their way as well.
