I'm watching Proscia with interest, but like you say, 2-3 years away IF he works out. His 4 BB / 33 K last year did not inspire confidence, but he's better this year - probably because he's scaring the bajeezus out of Cal League pitchers.
BTW: Brad Miller, our SS/2B, is out-slugging Proscia in the Desert. Maybe Miller should play first...
