Thanks for the Emilio Pagan stats!
Cautionary tale for Wawoe: Felipe Burin.
In 2010 in Venezuela, 40 walks and just 18 K! .335/.465/.440.
But he couldn't carry it over to the states and ended up released after a tepid season at Pulaski.  He was picked up by the Dodgers, but it doesn't look like he played for them in 2013 and may have gotten released again.
I learned a lesson from that one, but that doesn't mean that Wawoe won't be different.
