Famed for being the oldest topiary garden in the U.S., GreenAnimalsTopiaryGarden in Portsmouth, Rhode Island makes for a great day trip for couples that want to get away from the busy city for a short spell.  This gardens feature nearly 100 sculpted trees, all in interesting and amazing forms, along with dozens of carefully manicured flower gardens.  The entire grounds are a work of art made from the simplicity of nature.  For a romantic and fun trip that is truly unique, these gardens should not be missed.  Has anyone visited Green Animals before?  Is there anything there you would recommend seeing first?
