Mexican Coke may start using HFCS
An end to the last cane sugar Coke?
Coke aficionados know that if you want the real taste of Coke, you have to pick up bottles of the stuff made in Mexico. Coke made in the rest of the world is sweetened with HFCS, but in Mexico they continue to use cane sugar... but for how long? The Mexican government recently passed a steep soda tax, and Coke's Mexican operations are saying they may have to start using HFCS in order to cut the cost. (Jerks.)
