For a wonderful adventure through some of Canada’s best landscapes, consider taking the 47-mile trek across the West Coast Trail on Vancouver Island. Located within Pacific RimNational Park, this hike is considered by many to be one of the best trails in the world. Journey through forests and rugged terrain and enjoy the beautiful waterfalls, streams, lakes and rock formations. See wildlife of the land, such as bears and wolves, and when you reach the coast try to catch sight of some whales. The trail is only open during the summer, however, so you’ll have to make sure to plan around the sometimes harsh Canadian weather. Has anyone been to Vancouver Island before? What did you do while there?
