@CurtoWorld: Tacoma outfielder Ramon Flores leaves game with right leg injury. Fell while chasing a ball, left on a cart, didn't look good.

Boy, these Seahawks rookies are exciting though aren't they?

Reply - CMB - 8/14/15 10:13pm
For sure. Clark and Lockett living up to the hype. How Rawls went undrafted blows my mind.

Matthews was my pick to have a big season, just hope he gets one now, he didn't look good.

Seahawks are playing at least...

Yep this game is the 49th iteration of the M's "false start" syndrome in 2015.

... reloading the page has always cured 90% of my ills. Not optimal, perhaps, but easy and effective :- )

What a pathetic team. If we were playing the blue jays we'd have a chance of a sweep. Instead we have to play down to the Red Sox level and crush any hope there may have been.

I am ticked!! Put together a great thread about Lloyd's love of batting lead-off CF's with low OBP's. Almonte-Jones-#Jackson, all the way back to Adrian somebody in #Pittsburgh in both '01 and '02. Even Tyke Redman (although a RF) had a low OBP and he batted him lead-off. I will give him Kenny Lofton one year in Pitts, as Lofton had a career .372 OBP. Anyway...put it all together, took me nearly an hour, then it got ate up when I posted it. Totally disappeared.....!! I didn't sve it, my mistake. Anyway, I sad you couldn't make this stuff up and that Freud would have a field day with Lloyd's man-crushes on lead-off, lousy OBP CF'ers. Why not Seager, who gets on base vs RHP, or Montero (ditto lefties) or Guti, vs. LHP. Nope...we try Miller and Ackley at lead-off. Anyway, sorry it got gobbled up.

Can't read any of the articles. The page keeps shifting to the name field in the comments box.

Indeed...he would be my first choice to look at...especially in CF

With Flores though, I think you'd want an extended look to see if he really is a major league hitter.

we could bring up any number of interesting players that play more positions than bench 1B against tough right-handers. I can name five.

If they DL'd LoMo, they could bring up Flores and have more of an extended look at him, beyond what they would get with a September call-up.

Just havin' fun here: M's: "We may be losers, but d**n we're tough losers!"

Why are the Mariners so dumb about injuries? Seriously...any other club in the game make its players play through thumb injuries and deep knee contusions and the like?
