I mess up typing on here and autocorrects on my phone.. it's nuts.. I also agree when it comes to Marte...getting him in outfield could hurry the process up of him becoming someone in the bigs

Reply - mickiholley - 9/17/15 6:28pm
possible but getting him there too quickly will not be a good thing.

Ha! I feel like a maroon (as B. Bunny would say) when I hurry through and don't edit.

Reply - mickiholley - 9/17/15 6:29pm
no problem...we knew what you meant!

no prablom, moethecat...I #Male mistacks all the thyme.

Reply - mickiholley - 9/17/15 6:30pm
lol!! that is funny!

And thanks for not commenting on my hurried typos in the original Revere shout.

Reply - mickiholley - 9/22/15 11:31am
lol...we all do it!!!

Agreed with both of you. The interesting thing would be what #Jackson brings us, if he is swapped out. As I said, Revere is James Jones hit by lightning. That's something nice, but not THAT nice. Man, Miller-Ackley-Kivlehan-Marte-Taylor-etc all could be Revere or better. Revere was .305-.371-.363 at AA and .314-.347-.354 at AAA. Marte, for example, was .304-.342-.407 at AA and is .343-.394-.434 at AAA. Oh...Marte is actually younger than Revere was....and Revere was young.

I agree with Grizz about converting Marte to the outfield. Seems like the best way to turn him into some kind of major league player.

Reply - mickiholley - 9/17/15 6:31pm
could be, time will tell

agreed - I definitely wouldn't give them Taylor...no way

Reply - mickiholley - 9/18/15 5:44pm
taylor would not be an option.

Yeah. Revere better not cost much or I'm not pulling the trigger on that deal. I'm not sure I trade Taylor for him strait up to be honest. I would rather take one of the SS competitors and convert him to CF for the rest of the season (Marte), with an eye toward 2016 and beyond.

Reply - mickiholley - 9/18/15 5:45pm
looking to the future is always a good idea especially when the team is bombing this season!

Revere is an upgrade over #Austin #Jackson...but not a big one. My interest in him would be limited by what we can get in return for #Jackson.

Reply - mickiholley - 9/22/15 11:32am
not a great move for sure...but maybe useful down the line.

I didn't catch the derby, but I saw the new rules and thought immediately "this is a SURE THING to be much more entertaining, with much better drama" - glad to hear it went well

Reply - mickiholley - 9/18/15 5:46pm
it was actually great to watch!

Did anyone catch the derby yesterday? Baseball absolutely hut a homerun by changing the format. Best I'd seen in awhile, and Griffey Jr. Opened things off by throwing first pitch to his pops.

Reply - mickiholley - 9/18/15 5:47pm
loved it!

I tried to post this link to an article discussing the Fermi Paradox in the Konspiracy Korner: The Great Silence article but I got spambusted. Here's the link for anyone who's interested: http://waitbutwhy.co...
