Yeah...Ackley looks like a dead man up there.

#SABR_Matt #seattlesportsinsider.com

Is it just me or does Ackley have zero emotion left? Body language of a guy who has given up.

#CMB #seattlesportsinsider.com
Reply - mickiholley - 10/4/15 7:30am
he is probably thinking that it is just worthless to keep trying...especially with a team that is not competitive at this point

Either way. The Voting System Is flawed.. Then again, IT WORKED Fairly Well for A Long time.

#Browns8625 #seattlesportsinsider.com
Reply - mickiholley - 10/4/15 7:33am
I think it just needs to be revamped

Ya. I am sure there are people out there doing that.. but I think you have that probably with any team in terms of fans. I still think something is fishy about it. I mean never.., has it been so one sided.

#Browns8625 #seattlesportsinsider.com

they just made an important point about KC vote-getting for the AS game...what do we think of the possibility of fraud? Of people getting 20 email addresses and voting 35 times with each of them? I think the voting stinks of bologna, but is that just me?

#SABR_Matt #seattlesportsinsider.com
Reply - mickiholley - 10/4/15 7:34am
they need to lower the limit of # of times you can vote and go by name not email address...or something like that

wow...heads up play by Zunino there!

#SABR_Matt #seattlesportsinsider.com

Felix is mushy today. Everything is higher than he means it to be.

#SABR_Matt #seattlesportsinsider.com

And those are the mistakes being made weekly if not daily, which will end up sending mcclendon to the unemployment line

#Browns8625 #seattlesportsinsider.com

#Jackson throwing home cost us a run. Just ridiculous. He didn't overthrow him, he just wanted to throw home and air it out for no reason. It wasn't gonna be close. Throw it to second and the game is still tied. Stupid baseball play. Think out there. Sheesh.

#G_Money #seattlesportsinsider.com

Bad fundamental baseball. A-Jack overthrows the cutoff man and it ends up costing the M's a second run.

#DaddyO #seattlesportsinsider.com
Reply - mickiholley - 10/4/15 7:35am
back to basics...they need to really review how to be an effective ball player at the professional level.

It's not what we gave up for Trumbo. Trumbo's fine I guess. He just doesn't matter that much.

#GLS #seattlesportsinsider.com

Yeaaahh buddy... really need him to start coming on strong

#Browns8625 #seattlesportsinsider.com

Ya. Just a reliever and prospects right.. hopefully no future stars in those prospects. Short term I think it's fine..but like most of the lineup...these guys need to get on the base pads.

#Browns8625 #seattlesportsinsider.com

I have no problem with the Trumbo trade. We gave up nothing of value and it's not a long term commitment.

#SABR_Matt #seattlesportsinsider.com

He still hit better earlier in career. I mean many would be happy w a younger trumbo i think. Get older with him... and for what a world series push? I think that ship may have sailed

#Browns8625 #seattlesportsinsider.com

Well, he's never gotten on base all that much in his career, so I wouldn't hold out too much hope for that. Basically, his presence in the lineup turns a black hole into something less than a black hole, at the cost of defense (if he's playing the field rather than DH) and baserunning.

#GLS #seattlesportsinsider.com
Reply - mickiholley - 10/14/15 8:45am
gives us a little bit of hope

Trumbo is better than Ackley but not as good as Seth Smith. It won't take too many runs for Trumbo to sweep us off our feet.

#mojician #seattlesportsinsider.com
Reply - mickiholley - 10/14/15 9:30am
there were times when he was better but he still had a long way to go to be solid and consistant.

Ya that sounds like the overall impression I get. Hopefully it will pay off.. and he can start getting on base more.

#Browns8625 #seattlesportsinsider.com

I'm not a huge fan of the Trumbo trade. I suppose it's a net positive, but overall he's a very limited player with very little upside. He provides some power but not much else.

#GLS #seattlesportsinsider.com

I didn't really see everyone's thoughts on Trumbo trade? I know he came up big the other day but....guy moves around alot for a reason

#Browns8625 #seattlesportsinsider.com
Reply - mickiholley - 10/11/15 2:10pm
he seems to be one of those guys who fills a hole and then his usefulness is finished.

If walker and Elias can stay consistent...you gotta feel pretty good about rotation.

#Browns8625 #seattlesportsinsider.com
Reply - mickiholley - 10/11/15 2:11pm
that would add some stability to the rotation

Reply - mickiholley - 10/11/15 2:11pm
that would add some stability to the rotation

Taijuan's 38:3 control rampage … whether he gets too much of the plate or not, that is one #Whale of a stat. Thanks Grizz. #jemanji #seattlesportsinsider.com
Walker's located fastball … with that kind of location (last two games) he is a *called-strike knee-high changeup* away from being special right now. Much more possible after that. #jemanji #seattlesportsinsider.com
DaddyO: beautifully stated. :: peter o'toole :: #jemanji #seattlesportsinsider.com
Appreciate the kind words, Doc. I just wanted to register with our new friend that he's not the only one that gets carried away from time to time. And when I thought about it, it IS true that when we do so some peoples' valuable shouts get scrolled quickly out of view, and a lot of readers might never see them. Shouts = good. Three shouts in a row by one person = okay. Six shouts in a row = less than fair to others. It made me think -- and doggone it that's an accomplishment in itself! #DaddyO #seattlesportsinsider.com
Reply - mickiholley - 10/4/15 7:41am
hogging the convo is not a nice thing to do...for anyone...maybe utilizing the reply feature would be more appropriate instead of posting 6 shouts in a row??

re: number of shouts -- everybody's totally cool. Just a friendly bit of intel for our newest bro'. The thought that Daddy-O should write less on the SSI website? That's even more preposterous than delaying Hisashi Iwakuma in favor of Mike #Montgomery ... #jemanji #seattlesportsinsider.com
Reply - mickiholley - 10/4/15 7:42am
that is borderline insane...DaddyO has insightful thoughts that I personally enjoy and I have learned a lot from him. Thank you DaddyO for your shouts...

As for Walker...he's not an ace yet...not until he gets a wipeout offspeed pitch going and proves he can throw it every time out...but the arm is definitely golden and even if he isn't an ace...he can pitch for me. #seattlesportsinsider.com
Here is a fun article from a couple years ago to get you all psyched for Felix Day :) http://#Sports.yahoo....
