<p>If the #Cali league is actually doing this and sticks with it for any length of time, two things will happen almost immediately:</p>
<p>1) The minor league statistics of batters and pitchers w/r/t plate discipline will get considerably more reliable (MLB teams will like this) because minor league umpires are known to be incompetent on a level far exceeding our MLB blue...and the MLB blue is pretty bad.</p>
