Keep Hatin
Why so much hate for the guy in the cape

Every story must have a villain, so its not hard to imagine why Can Newton is now finding himself on the darkside.

I mean, what's the other option...Peyton Manning, I don't think so.

It really is not fair, but that is life they say.

Can Newton gives to his community, as is well documented. Heck, every Sunday when he scores, or a teammate...for that matter, Newton is first to make sure the ball gets to a lucky fan.

He dances, smiles, laughs and just has fun out there. He does not overly taunt or complain about calls. Many would say he does not get enough calls in fact. He is larger and runs often, so defenses can hit him more without the repercussions of say...a later hit towards Sunday's counterpart Mr.Manning.

Despite this all, he is suddenly labeled the villain Sunday. Rightfully so perhaps...he can have his day anytime. Manning is done, on his way out, his one last horah (or rodeo in his words). He has put in his time, took his lumps, and deserves one final Lombardi trophy. Right?

Well perhaps... I just have not seen a guy go from fun-loving, electric, front-runner MVP conversation to Darth Vader-esque discussion as Cam has recently.

Overnight the fun dabbing and victory photographs went from a thing of great excitement to a thing of great disrespect. Sure its over the top, but the fans love it. Despite what the media is now saying, they all love it too. In the end its a game, just like it was and is as kids. Cam's excited and having fun with his guys and suddenly its a problem.

I for one will not take a side, but instead will view it as Hero vs. Hero... Superman vs. Batman. Both these quarterbacks seem to be great guys that deserve to win. To me it will be nice to watch a Superbowl in which I  do not hate one of the two teams playing.

I may Dab to a Cam touchdown Sunday, and later quietly head nod a Manning score. In the end, I will respect whichever Hero that raises out of dust champion.
